Summary: I am an experienced medical doctor with expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and operation of adult cancer patients. I have had the privilege of serving patients at one of the premier healthcare institutions in the Philippines for almost 30 years.

Academic Excellence: My academic journey includes graduating magna cum laude with an undergraduate science degree and cum laude with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines. To further hone my skills, I obtained a Master of Surgery degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
Extensive Clinical Training: My medical career has been defined by rigorous clinical training, starting as a medical intern in general medicine and progressing to become a chief surgical resident at the Philippine General Hospital. I’ve also had the privilege of training at esteemed institutions worldwide, including the Department of Surgery II at Kyushu University Hospital in Japan, the Department of Surgery at the University of New South Wales-affiliated St. George Hospital in Sydney, Australia, and the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
International Credentials: I hold full medical licensure and board certification as a surgical specialist in the Philippines. My credentials also extend to international recognition, as I’ve successfully passed the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). I am honored to be a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (https://www.facs.org/), and I am also an active international member of the Society of Surgical Oncology (https://www.surgonc.org/).
Leadership and Philanthropy: In addition to my medical background, I hold a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific. This knowledge has been instrumental in my role as President of a charitable organization (https://the-cancer-foundation.org/), which my wife and I established over two decades ago and continue to lead today. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer through various initiatives and support.
